Hi Kachills! emoticonto SparkPeople!

This is such a great on-line community to be a part of, everyone here is so encouraging! Who knew complete strangers could be so motivationg emoticonemoticon

My first thought was: do you have the ability to buy a set of measuring cups?? Measuring your food out and using the Nutrition Tracker are 2 HUGE things that will help kick-start your weightloss journey.

The other HUGE thing that will help kick-start your journey is making sure you get your 8 cups of water! Your body will be thankful for switching the majority of your soda, juice drinks, etc.

And obviously last but not least: Move MORE! Starting with walking and slowly adding other things in is a great way to start. I've heard a TON of good things about the "couch to 5k" (C25K) program - might be worth looking into!

Good Luck! Starting your journey and asking for help are the hardest steps... and you already took them! Way to Go!!
