Hello fellow sparkpeople. :)
I am Madz, a student from England. I signed up yesterday, and can already feel that this is the place that will work for me. I feel slightly addicted to the SparkPoints plan, and I love the advice and articles. It makes the place feel alive!
I want to lose 20-40lbs, as I have recently put on a few pounds that I would love to get rid of. I am a healthy vegan, and my diet is already pretty good - I don't eat white carbohydrates, chocolate, sweets / candy, fried foods, or sugar, and I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, with a 90 minute advanced yoga class once a week. I love exercise and healthy living, but have recently found myself eating too much of the healthy food, prompting my weight gain.
I love mathematics and science, and as a result, find this program so useful - it is really nice to read about how my healthy choices affect my body and wellbeing. I hope that this time is the last time I lose weight!
