I have 4 of her dvds.

WATP For Your Week:
Muscle Mile One
30 Minute Walk
Walk Diet Mile One
Walk Strong Express
You Can Do Pilates

Walk At Home - Total Toning Slimming System - Burn Body Fat & Sculpt Arms
Includes 3 full workouts: 1 Mile, 2 Mile and 3 Mile

Walk At Home - Walk Away Your Waistline:
3 Mile Walk w/ 1, 2 & 3 Mile Markers (includes Walk Belt)

Walk At Home - Walk Away Your Hips and Thighs:
2 Mile Power Walk
Super Slimming Lower Body Toning (includes Fit Cuffs). I LOVE THIS ONE

I was even able to convince my husband who is afraid to sweat to actually try the Muscle Mile One workout and he loves it, but I can't seem to get him to add another mile. He doesn't like to overexert himself, lol.

I can identify when users say there is too much talking by Leslie sometimes. but I try to use even those times: What I find is that I can use those segments to guage how I am doing. Usually the talking means a point where the move is being overdone and I get literally tired with it, but as I progress, I pat myself on the back when I make it thought one of the talking times without feeling like I'm going to drop if she doesn't stop talking! They are not perfect, but I still find that Leslie works very well for me, just can't keep up with the younger cuties' moves most of the time. This body package didn't come with a lot of built-in coordination!

"My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in me, whom I have from God, and I am not my own. For I have been bought at a price, therefore I will glorify God in my body and in my spirit, which are God's."

Done the WATP Xpress 4 mile challenge this morning, I remember why I set it aside, she talks and giggles a lot through this one, when I'm trying to get the workout done, don't care for the talking so forth and so on, then I am not really fond on the one's where she by herself either. O do have a few favorites.

I never saw this thread, I am glad to see someone feels the way I do, basically you get the same routine over and over , for instance I ordered the Walk It Off & Tone it Up with the Firm Band 5 mile calorie burn, and it's a duplicate of the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk, she has one coming in Sept, 5 Big Miles W/Bands, if you want a change just go through your collection, it's just a matter of what you feel like doing, 1,2,3,5 mile..She's still my favorite. WATP Express to me is a good one. I even have a few VHS that I got from Goodwill, the same. I am not feeling the one's where she's by herself, and the WATP Belly Fat with clock..

Hi, all. I read the first post about all Leslie's dvds. many of those are no longer available, and I'm having a very hard time figuring out which "new" ones really ARE new and which are re-packaged same-old/same-old that I already have.

Anybody got any help to offer a returning walker? Thanks.

The only DVD I have has the 1, 2, & 3 mile walk. It came with the water weights. I'm going try this for a week & if I see a change in my weight, I'm going to buy another DVD.

I received my copy of Leslie's newest DVD "Ultimate 5-Day Walk Plan". I've used it a few times and while I'd love to say I "love it" I can't. I do enjoy some of the new "moves" she has incorporated into the work outs there are other things I don't like.

1. The "lag" time between going from one "mile" to the next is way to long, this could of been edited to not have that "black screen" time between miles that leaves you hanging.

2. The fact that when your doing the 3, 4, or 5 mile walks they are not like her traditional longer walks that start out slow (warm up) and then work you up to a fast pace holding you there for a while and then slowing down to the cool down. They are really "single" miles edited (poorly) together and each mile segment you do your warm up and then get up to "speed", cool down and then the next mile is the same. It doesn't increase speed/heartrate and hold you there for any length of time.

3. While I enjoy being able to choose my own strength training portion at the end those aren't long enough to really do much good.

I love the thought behind being able to choose your own miles (by "color") and adding what I want to work on that day I'm just not feeling like I'm getting as good a workout than I have with her DVD's in the past. Normally on her 5 mile walk I'm sweating bullets by the end...not so with this new DVD. I still love Leslie but this particular DVD doesn't do it for me....

As an "edit" this would be a great DVD for someone new to fitness, a beginner. For intermediate/advanced folks I'd skip it....

I have Walk at Home: 5 Day Slim Down. I love it. It has five different one mile workouts, a warmup, and a cool down. This has really worked for me because I'm at a beginner level. So, I started out with doing one mile everyday. Then I switched between one and two miles. Now, I'm up to two miles everyday. Also, you don't need any equipment for this one.

I can get dvd's through the mail from Netflix. They have a bunch of her dvd's, so if you have that you can check out 5 Day Slim Down. I have her Walk & Kick dvd coming in the mail next.

We have two of Leslie's DVD's.
1. Get up and Get Started it is 1 and 2 miles
2. Four Really Big Miles

I really like the Four Really Big Miles. It is faster pace in mile 2 and 3 and uses resistance bands in mile 4. The music is up beat. My husband even likes it. He still uses hand weights. I love the band. I just started this one, so I feel the use of the band the following day.

I got my first Leslie Sansone DVD yesterday...Walk Slim 5 Really Big Miles! It is awesome! I just did the 1 mile to start and I was sweating like crazy. I'm in love with these now! Can't wait to get my next one. I have really been missing out on a lot of fun exercise. It is so liberating to be able to do it by yourself, on your own schedule, in your own house. I can't wait to watch the weight tumble.

Hi y'all! I'm new to this team and I have heard a lot about Leslie's dvds so I wanted to try them out. I wanted to give you guys a great website to go to and you can click on Leslie Sansone on the left and it will bring up a LOT of her dvds and then you can click on the clip button and it will give you about a 3 minute clip of her dvd so you can view it before you buy it. I might also mention the dvds are inexpensive and free shipping. They have other exercise instructors as well on there. It is called Collage Video.... www.collagevideo.com It is really cool. They have dance, cardio, toning, Leslie Sansone, Denise Austin, Jillian Michaels, the works in the exercise industry.

Have a great weekend!

Has anyone tried the DVD's that use the waist weight or the one with the resistance bands for the waist? My Sam's Club has them at a god price, but I wondered if they were pretty much the same? Do I get only one of them or both?

I purchased all my WATP dvds on Amazon.com.

“I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is 'Abortion', because it is a war against the child... A direct killing of the innocent child, 'Murder' by the mother herself... And if we can accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love... And we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts...”

Hi! Was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the dvd version of the old WATP videos? I want to start up again using the old one mile but it on VHS and I don't have a VCR hooked up?
Thanks!

I wonder if I can get here in PEI on demand.
I have 4 Leslie's work out. Walk away the pounds for your abs (1, 2 and 3 mile walk on one DVD). I love the 3 mile routine. (2001)
The 3 mile walk with the resistance bands (2005)
5 mile, fat burning walk ( 2008), I love this because it is a 12 min/mile walk and gives a good sweat.
5 mile walk it off and tone it up (2009).
There is out this October (5 mile walk) but I have not yet decided to get it.
Enjoy your walks and have a great day

I have had the 3 mile Leslie Sansone DVD for years, but I actually always do the On Demand 2 mile.. I love it, it's quick and it gets all the heart healthy exercise I need in for the day.. And with Leslie Sansone because it is so easy, I take it to my family and it leaves them with something to remember be by.. a good Leslie Sansone Sweat.. I have done Leslie Sansone with my sister in law and nieces and even with my sister, I have done it with friends from church and people I have met at mommy day out.. I love it, have done it for years, it's my quick fix!

I got the 5 miles one at Walmart a couple of weeks ago. My daughter and I LOVE it! You will sweat a lot. Make sure you have lots of water! My daughter says it's her favorite one so far. I love the two miles of using the band. I also like the new moves added in. Lots of fun!

The great thing about Leslie's videos is that you can take it easy if you want, or you can push it if you're up to it.

Hi Everyone!

I am new to the Leslie Sansone videos. I just got the Walk at home Walk off 10 pounds 3 mile walk. Does anyone know if this is too difficult to start off with if I haven't been working out much lately? I order the 1-2 mile walk and the 5 mile walk it off but those are both on backorder. I don't want to wait to start using them but I don't want to overdo it and turn myself off to walking. Thanks for any help!

Hi friends. Years ago I bought a 3-VHS set of Leslie's WATP. It contained a 1, 2 and 3 mile walk. I looked on Amazon and on Indigo and even on the website and can't find where this is sold any longer. Any ideas? Or should I try and find someone to transfer these to DVD's. I wish I could just buy it somewhere.

EDITED: I found an Amazon.ca reseller in Canada (where I live) and was able to order the DVD set. It was the same price as Collage but the shipping was $2.99 whereas Collage was $7.99 (as they had to ship outside the US) plus I saved the customs charges.

I can hardly wait to receive these and get started again. Woohoo!

The fat burning 5 mile is a good one especially (miles 2, 3 and 4) where she has a group workout.
Also the 5 mile walk and tone is brisk except she is alone, however the music is good.
I am thinking of get the whole kit I will check the price on Amazon.
Good luck.

I was all set to do the entire 4 minutes of the Punch Up Your Walk DVD but it's a bit warm in my house. Keeping the A/C set at 82 and it STILL runs all the time! Had both fans going as well, but decided it would be better to just work my way back into things. I did a mile, will work my way up to all 4 in the next few days...

Just bought the "Punch Up Your Walk" set yesterday at Wallyworld for $16.77. I thought it was a very good investment! Will be trying it out today. I have several other WATP DVDs, including the one with the weighted balls (1 pound, I think). I'll get a headstart on August, since I was lazy most of July. When it's 105+ outside, it zaps your energy for EVERYTHING including exercising inside and going to the gym, too.

Hi! What did you mean about the Denise Austin walking video? Is it a good one? Better than some of the walk away the pounds ones? I'm looking to get some more walking workouts because I'm have a foot issue and I want to stick low impact until it's fixed. I have two walk away the pounds videos, but I'd like to find something that's a little more intense while keeping the low impact. Thanks for your response.

I have the bootcamp DVD and love it, however; I do it so often that I turn the volume down and put my ipod on while I am watching and exercising. :) I also do the 3 mile walk on ONDEMAND. I want to try a 5 mile walk, can anyone recommend one that is upbeat and good? I love the strength incorporated into the workout. :)

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

I suggest you check out collagevideo.com. You can see all that's out there and you can preview the dvd's. Although, Leslie is the walking queen! You can get dvd's with just her.

Thanks for the information. I don't like lunges, either! They're too much with my lower back issues. I can only do a few of those. I like variety and so I'll look for that DVD. Thanks again!
Have a great day!

The bootcamp uses figure 8 type resistance bands and you use them to do strength training. She actually makes you do lunges. I hate lunges. I thought the Punch Up Your Walk was tougher, but they are both good because they do different things.

I just ordered Leslie Punch Up your Walk. It comes with boxing gloves. I also do a lot of the workouts that she has on her Walk club. I do like her bootcamp and any of the ones with the stretchy band. I also ordered her two lb walk weights. I can't wait to get them.

I just ordered the BOOT CAMP from collage. I'm excited because I love toning mixed with cardio and I also do not own a "8" band for toning.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Netflix carries a lot of Leslie's DVDs and I have found that a good way to determine which ones I like well enough to buy, since I have a Netflix subscription. I definitely like some better than others. So far, my 2 favorites that I switch between are the Walk it Off & Tone it Up 5 mile calorie burning walk with fitness bands (Walk you Way Thin series) and the 5 Day Slim Down (Walk at Home series). They are both 5 miles (you can do less since they are divided by mile) but the 5 Day Slim Down one is at a faster pace.

If only they had had the Denise Austin Blast Away the Pounds Walk, I could have tried it first and saved some money.

My first Leslie Sansone DVD was the Walk & Sculpt - 1, 2, & 3 Mile Walks - with the 1-lb weights. This is a REALLY good place to start if you are a beginner. I used it for 8 weeks, then I got a set of 2 lb. weights and did the 2 + 3 mile walk together.

For Christmas, I got the Walk Slim - Fast & Firm - Four Miles. I like this one, because I want some variety. This DVD has intervals of walking and jogging, and the last mile uses resistance bands for strength training.

Which dvds have a Group Class involved? I must say, I have done the single Leslie dvds, but I really don't like to watch the ones that are all Leslie. Once you've done it a few times, they get repetitive, and i could do without the chatter (wish she had a music only version for those of us that try to do Sansone walking 3-6 times a week). I would like to get 3, 4, or 5 mile ones, but the only ones I bought for 3 mile and 4 mile were all Leslie.
PLEASE post or send me a separate Spark Mail to lPonytrot to et me know if you have recommendations for ones that are MORE than just Leslie on screen. There is one i saw once from a library that had a class, but they were all teachers. I would really prefer a group class where there are more "regular" looking people in it, like Randy and Elton, Stephanie, her niece, etc.... My husband definitely will join me 2-3 times a week if I use the group dvds, but is not fond of the solo Leslie ones either. Thanks in advance.

At one point years ago, I had ALL of Leslie's VHS tapes. I didn't go so nuts when I made the switch to DVDs. I really liked the WATP for Abs with the belt thing, the music and the people on the screen are great! I am also a sucker for a great set. I should probably order the DVD. The one I did yesterday, Walk Slim Fast Firming with the stretchie band was good, but the set sucks, with the camera booms and such, so if that bothers you...

Edited to add: There is also a DVD that is for men, it is 1 mile. It's 4 men, and led by a friend of Leslie's. So, if any of you women have a Chubby Hubby that might get off the couch for a "men's walk" www.collagevideo.com/workout-video/m

If you want to shop for Leslie's Dvd's, I have found collagevideo.com to be outstanding. There are about 5 pages of DVD's, you click on the title and it breaks down the workouts in minutes and activity, and you can view clips of the DVD.

I find this useful for shopping different mile workouts. checking out what the music is like, are there people in it, and how old the DVD is.
