Hi guys - I weigh every couple of days - starkers, after bathroom visit, before any food or water - and I do NOT beat myself up if it's a kg up - water retention, muscles holding on etc - simply as a reminder not to blow it all over a weekend. It just keeps me honest and determined to be consistent and do what really works for me. Same with tracking - I know that these last few days I haven't drunk as much water as I should in this heat - and I'd better put that right!
As it happens - in the past 5 weeks I have been on 2 challenges and I DID take measurements as well as weight - I did NOT lose kgs but I lost centimetres and I got compliments - so .... do not attach too much power to the scale. Non Scale Victories are probably even more important - and I include saving money, throwing out more than I take into my house, and getting a grin from a couple of my friends as being far more important than numbers on the scale - oh, the fit of my jeans is powerful too :D
