Welcome here....I've lived in SA all my life and though I've travelled a little, Im always thoroughly happy to come home.
I will NOT run emotionally from compliments and hide in fat layers for protection.
Though not officially a South African (American, in love with Mzanzi!), and not actually living in South Africa (I currently reside in Maseru, though, as a famous Vice Presidential candidate from back home might say "I can see South Africa from my house!)I am thrilled to join Team South Africa here on Spark. I've only just started to explore the site, but am thrilled at what I'm finding and excited at the possibilities.
Currently the Director of the American International School of Lesotho, I previously had the pleasure of living for three years in Johannesburg as the Director of Foreign Languages at AISJ (near Dainfern and Diepsloot). While there, I lost 40 kilos, but then moved to Bogota, Colombia where I gained back 34! But now I'm back home in Southern Africa, and ready to get back to the person I was when I lived here before. It must be something in the air that inspires me!
I'm looking forward to getting to know my new teammates, and always up for a braai if any team mates are nearby! And now, to get to work! Ke Nako!!
