Hi there! One tip is to create a Spark Page for yourself so that we can get to know you a little - interests etc - join a couple of appropriate Teams and get involved in some of the challenges that interest you
Take a good look at what your goals really are and break them down into month-by-month easy-to-do bite sized pieces e.g. I gave myself 9months to hit a certain weight, therefore had to hit targets each month to get there
Be realistic! Stay focussed and don't beat yourself up. I think that's enough to be getting started :)
Have fun - that's major By the way - I found a great big help in dealing with cravings was to eliminate added sugars for a week and then I found I could go on - now I never add it to anything. If you can ignore a craving for a minute or two, then you can carry on until the next time and then deal with it for another couple of minutes - same as quitting smoking!

Hi everbody, my name is Gaynor, this is a first time for me trying to loose weight this way, I've never heard of this site before, until I decided to look around for a last resort. Today was supposed to be my 1st day at "trying" but cravings got the better of me. But I still won't give up. I'm a mother of 2 boys, 6 and 1y8months old, they take up most of my free time, I'm at work ful time during the weeks and that is where I've started picking up even more weight, I've moved from working with kids to working in an office evironment where all the women around me love food, but still look really great. I've been married for almost 3 years and I really want to look good before our 3rd year anniversary in April 2011. I need help, some support? Just somebody to talk to me once a day, maybe that could help me, doing it alone isn't really nice. Any tips?
