Hi, Karen, welcome to SP and the team!
You have made a great start, just keep going. Sometimes after a big loss, your body first adjust itself - it tends to do so a lot during a weight loss regime.
Don't lose heart.
We are here for you!
A healthy diet is not a regimen that changes with the seasons, but a way of life. - The Real Age doctors
Hi Karen, where are you from? I'm from George near Cape Town. Good to see you here, never mind the dissappointment, just keep going and going and going, at some point you will be soooo glad you did.
I will NOT run emotionally from compliments and hide in fat layers for protection.
I'm Karen, I have 25lbs to lose, and I am 55years old which does not make it easy! I have exercised 6 times a week since I started my diet two weeks ago, with great results the first week of 3.5lbs off, which of course was mainly water, but still a great result for me. Disappointment this week as the scale hardly moved, and I have watched and wieghed my portions, and resisted every temptation, so boo hoo not a happy soul! I am not going to let it stop me, I am sure it's just a gliche, or maybe the trainer is to blame and "perhaps already?"I have gained a little muscle, who knows, but undeterred, but disappointed, I will carry on and see where I am by Christmas! So hopefuly I will hear from some other losers out there, who can motivate me even further, Bye from South Africa Karen X
