Hi Karen and welcome. You are going to love it here. There is so much info that you can hardly keep up, not to mention the amazing encouragement you will get from various team members. Regarding not wanting to cook, you don't have to...there are sections dedicated to foods that dont require cooking. And for the carbonated drinks, try soda water with lemon juice and sweeter, or even just diet sodas.

I will NOT run emotionally from compliments and hide in fat layers for protection.

Hi

My name is Karen, I live in Kempton Park, and work in Germiston. I'm 46 years old, and for many years have carried around excess weight. I really suffer from lack of will power, and am an emotional eater. I'm divorced and living alone, so my diet is completely wrong. I try to eat cereal for breakfast, lunch is my failure, eating take-aways, or greasy food from the canteen. In the evenings I tend not to cook, or make things like scrambled eggs. I am also a lover of carbonated drinks, and have at least 2 x 2 litres in my fridge.
I am only 1.52m, and weigh 90kg, wearing a size 16/18.
I hope that I will find moral support and help here, because I really need to lose weight, for myself.
