I am a Kiwi expat living and working in Belgium for the US Gov't with my US hubby. :)
I was in wonderful shape in Afghanistan and when I came home about 6 years ago I think I got lazy (maybe a bit depressed?) and gained about 50 pounds (around 22 kg) over the course of the first 2 years back into normal life, and reinforced horrible eating habits which I'm now working hard to undo.
We've been in Belgium for a little over a year so far, and luckily haven't fallen into even worse eating habits being surrounded by awesome bread, cheese, wine, beer, frites (french fries - usually with mayonnaise), waffles and of course chocolate. I'm a little hungry as I type so I'll keep this short so I can go and drink some water. ;)
Of all the SparkTeams I've searched for with the various places I've lived through the years, I feel more at home here with Team Kiwi although I'm half a world away.
Thanks for your acceptance!
