No I have never tried that or any other type of veggies roasted! I just got addicted to this cauliflower stuff when I was working with a friend of mine who is a veggie buff hahaha but she shared some with me with her dip and I loved it! Only grabbed 1 the first time but definetly went back for a small hand full :) Thanks for the words of encouragement as well!
I know it isn't a smoothie thing but I want to lose, have you tried roasted cauliflower. I had never tried roasted anything and in the last month or so that is all I want. It is so good. Cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, onions, garlic, eggplant, zuccini, the list is endless. I cook mine on parchement paper on a cookie sheet that has sides. 450 degree oven Spray it with pam and put your veggies on, spray again and salt and pepper. Bake for 15-20 min. I also like to add a couple of Tbs of parmesan cheese. Give it a try, no ranch dip needed.

Hi I am new and I hate to diet not good at it at all. Healthy foods for me are like poison hahaha I do love cauliflower but have to have the cucumber ranch dressing with it. So if anyone has some good recipes besides what has been posted I would greatly appreciate it. I am exercising now and have about 150 or so pounds to lose. I also am at the age where my metabolism has slowed down to a CRAWL so extra work for me to lose the weight. Love the smoothies as well :) Tropical Smoothie is my favorite place but for smoothies only. Hope to see some good recipes and wishes of luck on the weight Loss :) Good Luck for everyone else too. God Bless
That reminds me of a recipe I got over 25 years ago for a banana milk shake. 1 cup fat free milk 1 banana in chunks 1 tsp vanilla 6-8 ice cubes Sweetner to taste. Just put all that in a blender and let it run until your ice is really fine. It made an excellent desert. Or I suppose breakfast.
I would think you could use any fruit that goes well with milk. enjoy.
Welcome to the group. Glad you joined. I have never made veggie drinks other than with a juicer and that is just like carrots and apple or cranberry. But if you juice cranberries my juicer goes off balance after about a cup and a half of them. As for smoothies I like to use any frozen fruit you like, and a bit of orange juice and if you want to you can add yogurt too. I have a hand blender but a regular blender would work too. As for how much fruit to use that depends on how many calories you are aiming for. I have found that strawberries, blueberries, peaches, bananas, and pears work really well. Hope that helps but I am sure there are others out there that will have better ideas. I don't make very many smoothies. I like my fruit whole.
