Yes, I drink at least 8 glasses of water daily, which reminds me, another thing that has improved is that instead of getting up every 2 to 3 hours each night to get rid of the water it has improved to every 4 hours. I'm pretty impressed how a few small changes can improve my symptoms of this disease.

great job not eating flour etc is really helpful & exercise is a great thing I do a lot of seated ones too & remember about drinking water so the toxins are eliminated unless your water is restricted

NASFKAB:

Since I started this program 3 weeks ago I feel a lot of good things happening with my body.

I've cut way back on the simple carbs and try to exercise 5 days a week. The most noticeable is my neuropathy has improved tremendously. I still feel some tingling in the feet, but I have not had one episode of the SCREAM-OUT-LOUD sharp jabbing pain in my feet and hands in the three weeks I've been at this. That alone, causes me a great deal of relief.

Welcome to this Great Team! It does take a while to get the blood sugars under control. Don't give up! Besides this Team and take it from me, people here will help and support you, look into taking an Diabetes Education class. If you have done this in the past, consider taking another one because they are always coming out with new things to help us diabetics. Also, make sure you have a doctor and maybe a team like a dietican and diabetic educator that you can trust.

I was diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago, and admittedly, have not done a very good job of managing it. Joined this group looking for ideas and support to help me deal with this awful disease.
