More important is the comparison from the number 6 months ago and 3 months ago
and the new A1-c number.
carbs are okay just not the simple carbs
like white food like sugar, flour and white rice, chips, crackers & bread .
Now i eat triscuits or wheat thins or whole grain bread
I make my own yogurt, granola and soups [taco soup my fave]
because it is easier to make my own than to memorize this list
I watch every label with the knowledge that sugar has so many names

Doc gave me 3 months to right my A1-c number
In October it must be better than 3 months ago 7.1.
I'll stay on diet and exercise until i must take medicines for diabetes.
My liver dumps glucose into my blood stream when i am sick.
It thinks i need the energy i guess
