If you haven't already, I would suggest you ask your doctor to send you to diabetes education classes and a diabetic nutritionist. Both are tremendously helpful.

My mom had six kids. I loved being part of a big family. Routine was important to keep chaos to a minimum. In the summer we all did Jack LaLanne, a morning TV exercise program. I think that's why as adults we don't mind exercising. A not so great physical is your wakeup call. Your children can be your biggest motivators. You need to be healthy for them. Teaching them how to eat healthy and exercise increases their chances of great physicals over their lifetimes.

With those nine kids, help an support will get you on the right track. Does Diabetes run in your family? Post what you are in need of finding out. The team will do their best to lend a hand an a shoulder or two. Post often an, as Lady Mary says ...... drink that water !
