emoticon Try the nutrition tracker. I find it eye opening. It helps me stay on a healthy eating track. Here is the link for the tracker: www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/nutritio

As someone who can relate (last year I told everyone who would listen, "I've tried EVERYTHING and I just can't lose weight!") but who has lost 62 pounds so far, I HIGHLY recommend you get yourself a copy of Gary Taube's Why We Get Fat.

He doesn't single out diabetics but so much of what he writes about is the link between insulin and weight.

My name is Kelly and I'm a 43 year old wife and mother of two girls aged 17 and 5. I've fough weight issues my entire life, even when I didn't have obvious weight issues I saw myself as overweight. I'm looking to learn healthier eating habits that I can share with the entire family so that we can get healthy together.
