The reason Sparks works so well that it is NOT A DIET per se. This site teaches you to make lifestyle changes which will help you get healthier and weight loss seems to naturally occur. That's not to say you shouldn't work your program. You get out what you put into your program.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. There is always someone around to answer or point you in the right direction.

Welcome, Kaylang. You are in the right place to achieve your goals and/or to set worthwhile goals that will get you where you mean to be.

My favorite tool is the Nutrition Tracker (above left under My Tools). It gives a daily meal-by-meal picture of where your eating habits are and where you want them to be.

If it has been awhile - or never happened - ask your dr for a referral to a Diabetes Educator. Many of them are also Nutritionists. They have a wealth of information and are valuable partners to have on your journey to being a healthy individual.

I have tried everything and I mean everything over the course of many years. I am praying this is the right place for me. I know I cannot do this by myself and I know everyone is tired of hearing me when I say I have found another plan to try. I do not want to set myself up for failure again, so this time it is between just myself, my sister and all of you out there! lol I do have diabetes and my Dr. said to lose weight before to much damage occurs. So, my main goal is to get healthy, why I joined the site.....I have explored the site and think this might work, and my interests include horseback riding (but I want to be able to get on my horse by myself, I guess that is a goal, lol) and I love to travel, read and do crafts of all kinds.
