My fastest breakfast idea, which I love, is a banana & peanutbutter sandwich. It has all the main food groups, and you can eat it on the go.

Welcome to the team, Brittney! I have a couple go to breakfasts that I make up in advance for when my mornings are going to be on a tighter schedule.
Breakfast Wrap: 2 eggs or 3 egg whites (scrambled in a bowl) 1 green onion 1 slice turkey bacon or extra lean ham or lean turkey sausage (which ever meat I cut up) 1 oz low fat cheese 1 Tbsp salsa 1 6" tortilla wrap
1: Cook up the meat of choice in a non-stick frypan that I spray with Pam. 2: Add thinly sliced green onion, sauté for a minute 3: Add the scrambled eggs 4: When eggs are cooked I put mixture into wrap, top with cheese and salsa. Roll and enjoy. I often make several of these on Sunday, wrap with papertowel and put into large container and put into the fridge so I can zap them in the microwave for a minute before running out the door. Adjust ingredients to meet your tastes, I some times add black beans also for a fiber boost.
OH, another one I like is a breakfast smoothie. Put your desired frozen fruits and ice cubes into a bag or container in the freeze so you can just dump into blender in the morning, add a little milk or juice and a scoop of protein powder, blend and go.
With the wrap idea, you can throw anything into a wrap and go, they are easy to eat on the run. Try throwing a little leftover salad in with a sliced hard boiled egg, or smear a Tbsp of peanut butter over a wrap and add a banana, roll and enjoy. Even cheese and veggies, or deli meat, left over chicken...really what you can put in there is endless. Hope this gives you a few ideas that will appeal to your tastebuds.

There are some really easy make ahead recipes on SparkRecipes.com. One I like is a Crustless Quiche breakfast to go, another is a turkey bacon roll. There are others as well. Make them on the weekend and have them ready in the fridge to grab and go.

Breakfasts can be fun. :) with a little practice, "egg mcmuffin" style sandwiches can be done in the microwave in five minutes or less. Spray a cereal bowl with no stick spray, scramble the egg in the bowl and microwave 45-60 seconds. Put your flatbread or muffin of choice in the toaster. While warm top with Canadian bacon and maybe a little cheese. (Can usually get away with about 300 calories too!)
Almonds with your yogurt, or cereal are wonderful too.
I frequently have to take my breakfast on the run getting kids to school. Dry cereal, to go container of milk and my fruit frequently have to do.
Anybody else have breakfast on the run ideas?

I am Brittney, I am 24, and I think I am starting to get heart burn. I need to eat better, and lose weight for a better, healthier, more confident life style. Aside from yogurt or a banana, I'm having a hard time coming up with a quick, easy breakfast since I get up at 4am, leave the house at 4:30am to be at work before 5am. I need to cut back on greasy, cheesy foods, though they taste sooo good, but its not good for my body. I need or would like a weight loss jump start. Thanks for reading!
