Hi Lindsey!, welcome to the Spark Challenge Team!!! I get what you're saying, doesn't feel like a diet at all to me, food is great, lots of varieties, plenty of veggies and fruits and don't forget our water!!, LOL!!! I just got diagnosed back in March with Tye 2 Diabetes, and like you I'm tall, and I was fat, but people kept telling me you carry your weight so well, like who else was gonna carry it for me???, LOL!!! This team is fantastic, we are each others cheerleaders, we are so happy when someone reaches a goal they may have set for themselves, we listen if someone is having a problem and try to help them out. You'll love it here, and we'll love having you!!
You know, no matter what diet I've ever been on, people say "it's a lifestyle." Makes me want to scream... I HAVE A LIFESTYLE! LOL. But right now I'm not dieting. I'm planning healthy but DELICIOUS food that fits w/in SP's recommended calorie allowance AND I'm moving more. It's just what I have to do. So I get what you say when you "don't really feel like I'm dieting." Good for you!

Hi! I'm Lindsay. I'm a type 1 diabetic, and from the time I got my first insulin pump I have struggled to keep my weight down. I love the saying "I'm not fat, but I have fat that I need to get rid of" because it fits me to a T! I'm not a fat person, but I sure do have plenty of fat to lose! I'm pretty tall so I "carry it well" whatever that means! I'm looking forward to sticking with this program, and so far (two weeks into it) I've lost 4 pounds and I don't really feel like I'm dieting! I just feel like I'm eating more healthily and treating my body a whole lot better, and that makes me happy :)
