I've been up your way quite a bit as I have a friend from school that lives in Garden Prairie on a 5 acre property. Love going there. She's got 9 dogs and I forget how many cats. :)

My name is Katie. I am from Belvidere, Illinois. I heard about sparkpeople from a coworker. I started an account so I can start a lifestyle change in order to prepare for my upcoming start in nursing school. I am trying to avoid the dreaded freshman 15 and I figured if I start now maybe I can get in shape and develop some good habits before the stress begins.
