Thank you for the encouragement! I know about those good and bad days already but I'm determined to stick with my decision! I like SparkPeople already even though I was skeptical at first. One of my favorite sections is the recipes, I like to peek at healthier option dessert recipes for my treat days.
I plan on here for a while and I hope I see results soon ^_^

You are a beautiful, intelligent woman. Choosing healthy and happy are your first steps in the right direction! Expect to make mistakes, especially now, at the beginning. Know that you are going to have good days, bad days, and better days. SparkPeople is a tool to help you along the way! I love the food and fitness trackers. They help me know if what I'm eating is nutritionally sound and encourage me to actually do at least 10 minutes of healthy, on purpose, activity. Hope you stick with us because you are going to love the results when you do!

Hi. My name is Keyana. I'm a 21 year old college student trying to finally take charge of her life and weight. I've always been a little chubby since I was a child. I did not really notice it until middle school. I was bigger and that was not a good thing. I decided to ignore it (great idea huh?) But it steadily increased throughout to the end of high school. My first year of college, I lost weight actually and I felt good! But I did it without trying (by starving because I had no money because I was a poor college student) and it was easy ( because I had no money). When I gained back the weight I lost during my second year, I was less than thrilled (like a gigantic fatty failure T.T)
So my third year, I came to a decision. I must change my lifestyle and lose weight! I don't want to be "skinny" despite what my title says. I want to healthy and happy. So I need all the help and support I can get since my friends are eating all of the good things in front of me T.T
