Hi Nancy, I'm Tina, I'm new also. I weigh myself everyday too. I personally think it's okay as long as you don't obsess over it. I use it to keep myself conscious of my choices for that day. I actually feel a little lost if I don't weigh myself. Good Luck to you on your journey! :)

Hi folks, my name is Nancy, aka "Whoagal" and I'm new to SparkPeople. I am still learning how to use the site and am anticipating some good results. I used another free calorie-counter site with good results, but I knew a few people who used this one and thought I'd try it. I want to lose weight, lower my blood sugar and hemoglobin A1c. I NEED to see the pounds come off!!! I am kind of a fanatic because I weigh almost every day and I'm told not to! It's just that if the pounds are coming off then I know I'm doing the right thing. Hope to make new friends through SparkPeople, get healthy, and perhaps help someone along the way!!
