Happy Birthday. 58 here, almost 59. Thanks for checking the video. I thought it was great. Bought a copy to see again and again and share with others locally.

Another film by the same group 'Food Matters' is worth a viewing at some time.

Enjoy Dr. Joel Fuhrman's book Eat to Live. Similar eating plan. (prefer that term to diet).

Also, some interesting 'webinars' from Maximized Living (www.maximizedliving.com) Chiropractors. See EVENTS, and look for the 'archived events'. They have feeds of past workshops. Quite a few interesting topics. Not as polished as Hungry for Change, but still good content, and free.

Need some motivation. see www.hungryforchange.tv. The video is FREE today and tomorrow ONLY. After that, the free viewing will be turned off an you can only see the trailer without paying for the video. Excellent program.

Welcome Wearingthin!!

I started in December and the food journal has been invaluable. The walking and bike riding are a great exercise program. If you are interested, there is a 10 minute challenge program that helps build some consistency when restarting exercise.

I joined Spark Pages a year ago, but am really at my beginning. I have a goal of losing 80 lbs and getting exercising again. Will start with a food journal tomorrow, and I will likely take a walk. Felt inspired when I read a 28 year olds loss of more than her body weight, bringing her down to 150. I just need to get to 220 or 225. At my 6'4", I should be at a good place with that weight. I have some problems with my lower back that limit my walking ability, but with a little effort, I should be able to increase distance and also bike ride. Nice to be a part of this group.
