Hello and welcome, I'm in a situation where I can't exercise due to many injuries to feet, knees shoulder and back. I have to lose weight with diet and by doing a couple of jobs a day around the house. I've gone from 340 to 285 by this method and I realize how hard it is to stay motivated to just eat right let alone adding exercise too. You can do it with the proper frame of mind that just because you have a few set backs and loss of incentive along the way isn't the end of the world. It's a slow process, but we have the rest of our lives to get the job done, besides losing quickly is the best way to back slide and gain it all back. I've learned on the slowest loser team that we have to commit to a lifestyle change not just weight loss and exercise. Believe me slow is better because there's not as much pressure and your more apt to keep what you've lost off for good. I'm sure you'll find the right combination if you keep looking. Hello all. I am new to the group, but have been with SP for a couple of years off and on. I am having major trouble trying to get motivated again. Doctor is on my case as well as my wife. Hopefully can get some insights and ideas.
