Hi, my name is Mary, and I will be 30 in about 5-6 weeks, so I thought it'd be easier to join the 30's group instead of the 20-something group. I live in Iowa with my fiance, Ross, and our 4 cats. I love, love, LOVE Cooking Light magazine, and it's one of my biggest tools for losing weight and feeling healthy!
I currently weigh 249 and would like to get down to about 140, which is a healthy weight for me. I'm really concentrating on eating a lot healthier, and also have two different workout buddies 5 days a week to help keep me motivated. I'm also using the Sparkpeople tools to help me get enough calories/fat/protein/carbs as well as the right amount of exercise.
I would really like to reach a point where I can engage in physical activity and not get out of breath after a matter of seconds, and I want to FEEL good and stop putting crap in my body!!
