In case you missed this video in your e-mail from Spark People I thought I'd share it with you. It's a 30 minute walking indoors. I haven't tried the Leslie Sansone videos yet but am sure I'll be checking out some of that kind of stuff once winter weather hits. I love to walk in the snow and don't mind the cold...but just know that sometimes, the videos will be what I use to get in my daily walk in the upcoming months!

Finding your Stride Length

Measure a 30 ft distance. Mark the starting and finishing line.
Start walking a few feet before your starting mark to ensure your natural pace and accurate stride.
Count the number of steps it takes you to walk the 30 ft. Walk at your normal pace.

then you can go to: www.walk4life.com and put in your stride, number of steps walked and it will calculate out for you your miles walked.

This is great just for you own info...and your stride WILL change as you walk more...and also for those of you using a pedometer!
