I am starting again today also. I read on just today that all the times you have started and stopped you were just practicing. Well you know practice makes perfect so I like that saying. So yes I am starting again but i will take it a little at a time and keep on practicing.

I just joined after losing about 70 pounds on my own. Love the idea of a supportive community and the articles and tips are very helpful. Losing 50 pounds is great and keeping it off is quite an accomplishment.

I joined spark about two years ago. And, here I am again! I am happy to say that I didn't gain weight in my absence. I absolutely attribute that to Spark. My journey of educating myself about how I should be living my life through diet and exercise began here. I am so excited about this journey. We all have just one life to enjoy, don't we? It took me some time to realize that no one could get my butt off the chair, my foot out the door, stop the wrong foods from going in my body except me! I've lost almost 50 pounds in the past two years and have challenged myself to 20 by summer. I will do it. I am a woman on a mission and I am very determined to live the rest of my life in a wonderful way!

I have a date on the beach this summer. I am determined to lose 20 pounds and tone up my body!

Hi everyone,
I had joined spark about three years ago and did very well. Joined the biggest loser challenge teams and that helped a great deal with motivation. Most 40 labs at that time, got a bit vain and cocky as I've done many times in the past yet promised myself I would stay focused. Well, I lost my focus and I'm back, hopefully for good. emoticon

Not really sure what new challenges may be out there for the team, but I know we once tracked monthly fitness minutes and raced other states...maybe we could get that set up again?

Hello Everyone, My name is Theresa and I am starting again for the third time (I think). I have tried before but just couldn't stay motivated. I think that this time will be different because for the first time since gaining all the weight I am unable to do something because of my weight. I want to have a baby. YETTOBE - I know how you feel! I went through a divorce, gained weight, worked hard last summer and lost it all only to get lazy over the winter. I'm back with a new realization that this is a process that takes time...wishing you all good things as you go through what I know is a tough time.

I'm starting again. I recently put about 15 pounds back on. I still have a way to go to my goal weight, but I had been maintaining. My current goal is to run a 5k!

I have started again as of yesterday! I had my thyroid removed in 2009 and it has been a long struggle ever since with my new slower metabolism having gained about 20 lbs since then. emoticon

BUT! I am re-energized and looking forward to using this wonderful resource and support system to get me back on track in obtaining my nutritional and fitness goals. emoticon

Today, I start again. I have gained additional 30 lbs since I started 2 years ago. Yes, I occasionally visit hoping to get motivated.
