Hello All....member number 57 here. I am a F2F podcast listener (when I run/walk) and a Sparker since January 2010. With Sparkpeople's help I have lost, and kept off, over 100 pounds. Looking forward to learning a lot from the F2F Sparkteam!!
My goal is the same as PAULINLIM - stay under 130. I got to my goal just a couple of months ago. So far maintaining a weight is just as much work as getting to that weight. I'm the over 50 woman Russ mentioned in #146 - the one who is looking good in a bikini for the first time in my life :) I am 58 and have never been this thin or in such good shape. I've got some arthritis here and there and a bad knee that has had 2 surgeries, but I just ignore those things for the most part.
I fully believe in the F2F way of losing weight and that's how I've done it for the last 5 or 6 years. I work at muscle building with my trainer for one hour a week, I try to get in a 20 minute resistance workout once or twice a week, I walk about 15,000 steps a day (I get up from my desk at work A LOT), and I do a long hike almost every weekend. My calorie intake for maintenance is about 2200 per day. That's it - moderate exercise and a moderate diet have added up to my success, along with fairly obsessive consistency and monitoring.

Heard about this team from the F2F podcast. Those podcast have helped me gain motivation to finally turn my weight loss journey around. I have about 60-70 to lose and hoping this team will help keep me on track and accountable.
I am hoping to one day be able to run an entire half marathon!
I am new to this forum - not new to SP or F2F. My goals for this year are modest compared to past years - I will be part of a team doing the American Odyssey Relay at the end of April (Gettysburgh to DC) and then I am planning to run a half marathon (trail) with ON2VICTORY. He and I have run a HM together in November.
A couple of other things about me - big fan of the show - since the age of 50 been very active (swimming, biking, runnning) - now is the time to focus on some strength and on miles - however, a job I started in November makes it more challenging because of the hours.
