Hi everyone -

I'm 47, married 25 years with two grown kids. DS is 24 and DD is 21.
I live in SE Wisconsin with my husband and two dogs in a 170 year old farm house we've restored over the last 24 years.

I've been overweight all my life and have had some success here on SP. This is a great place to be! I work out regularly and have learned to like it a lot. Food is not as easy, but I'm generally better about it all the time.

Just saw this & Love the idea Beth!

I'm Kim - 36, married, no rugrats (just fur-babies), and have called Houston, TX home for 10yrs now. I joined SP in Aug'11 - the first 10lbs came off slowly with a change in eating habits and irregular exercise. I was stuck there for a long while, and didn't have the motivation to change. Recently, with a great group of challenge buddies for support, I've gotten more consistent with daily workouts and am working my way down on that second 10lbs that need to go.

This is a terrific challenge & I'm looking forward to all the Positive 'Bombing' !!!

Thanks for building this team, what a great way to help other members who need that extra love and support on sparkpeople. I'm 27 married with three sons, my oldest has autism but goes to school and gets speech therapy at school, so he speaks pretty well and is higher functioning. We live in Tampa, in sunshine state of Florida. Working out for me helps with my stress, depression, just all around makes me feel better. I wasnt always good about portion control thats how I gained all this weight and bad eating choices too of course. Well anyway thank you for inviting me to your team. emoticon

Well, I know, this team has only been up for the past 10 minutes. But still, hurry up and get out here and join me!

I'm a 33 year old married-with-no-kids lady living in Austin in the great state of Texas. I like working out, but between work, part-time night school, and the rest of my life...I feel like I never get in enough. I also don't feel like I ever really get enough food and beer, which is how I ended up here on SP! :) Sometimes I deal with depression, anxiety, infertility, relationship woes, and general stress...and the outpouring of love I found on SP made me want to do the same for others. So I asked if anyone thought this sounded like a cool idea and when some people agreed, I formed a team. Now we'll see if Field of Dreams was true or all a crock...if I build it, will people come and build it UP?!?
