Hello team, I'm hoping to continue with my weight loss and strength training; as well as, learn how to run. I am trying to lose ~30 lbs. It is not necessarily my year goal but I want to ;ose a minimum of 10% this yeat. That will put me closer. I am happily married and have two grandchildren, one who ,oved in about a month ago. I'm not a pet person so no pets

I am a SP friend of EVWINGS and thought i would accept her invitation to join her new team. i have been with SP for just over 1 1/2 years and have lost about 40 pounds and then gained 15 lbs back lately. Been a hectic last few months and food and exercise just didn;t happend as good as I had done at first. Will be working on that going forward.
I am located in MN by the Twin Cities and have lived here all my life. Am married with no kids. My husband is on SP also and doing better than I am!
Both of us are avid shooters and have competed in many styles of shooting sports in national and international venues. Right now we are in winter pistol leagues and in the summer will add F Class high power rifle into our busy schedules. Between work and shooting, and being active in our gun club I don;t have much time for other things too often.
Hi my Buds! I'm so glad you could join me for this year long challenge!! In case someone doesn't know me, My name is Evelyn - everyone calls me Ev or Ang, but call me whatever you wish. I live in NE FL, but was born and raised in NE OH. My spouse is Bob (Cruzer42 on SP). We have been married since August of 2000. He was born and raised in NE MN, on da' range. He has 3 grown children and a teenaged grandson who is autistic. I was never blessed with any children of my own. We have four furbabies that we rescued. In August of 2012 I reached goal weight. it didn't happen over night, but by 1 -2 pounds a week. I have found one of the things that worked for me was to set small goals within the big picture. For the past months, I have been setting them monthly for both health and fitness and personal. To stay accountable I blog when making them and again to share how I did with them.
Because of that working so well for me, I decided that this year rather than making New Year's Resolutions, i would resolve to try something new every week = 52 new things! Thus this group was formed when I blogged and there seemed to be a real interest.
I'm looking forward to having fun with our group all year long!!
I'm Debbie in Ohio. I joined because I must lose weight by May of 2014 (I must pass a work related physical then). 52 new things in 2013 looks like the perfect opportunity. I need to lose about 80 pounds. I'm excited to be apart of this team.
HI, I'm Judy from Minnesota. Since I turned 50 I have been making it a point to try things I've never done before, and I think this team is a great idea to keep us "old dogs" learning new tricks! I'm not sure can come up with something new every week, but will do my best with some help from suggestions from other teammates. Here's to an adventurous 2013!
