I wonder if you are still with Sparkpeople all of you who posted so long ago. Please give a shout out if you are still fighting the law and the battle of the bulge. I am new to Spark People and I would love more interaction with other people trying to balance working in law and a heathy lifestyle

Welcome aboard!

Starting Weight: 260 lbs. (November 2010)
Quasi-Maintenance: 165 lbs. (June 2011)
Goal Weight: 150 lbs. (reached December 8, 2011)

Size 22W to Size 4

Currently maintaining within 5 lbs. (+ or -) of goal. I weigh daily, but also use a tape measure and the fit of my clothes to guage how well I'm doing.

Hello all. I am an assistant public defender looking to lose about a hundred pounds. I have steadily been gaining weight since my children were born, and have been practicing law since graduating law school in 1986. I have had various jobs as a lawyer and a private practice. So, the stress has been there in different forms, all resulting in the extra weight. I really can't say the job or the stress did it, because I was the one who brought the hand to the mouth with the contraband, i.e. excess calories. So how about a Huddle sometime?
