DEBBIE - - Be sure to measure everything you eat or drink, especially in the beginning. Measuring and tracking is very important. Drink your water and get your 8 hours of sleep each night. Your body needs that much time to rejuvenate itself to help you to have more energy and to lose weight. Are you eating ENOUGH!! A lot of times we don't eat enough and the our body thinks it's not going to get anymore food and wants to hang on to every bit of it and thus STARVATION MODE!!!! Be sure to eat at least the minimum amount of calories that you are allowed. Remember: Measure and track your food and drink daily. Tracking is a great tool for nutrition to let you know just how many calories, proteins, fat, and carbs you are getting - whether you need in increase or decrease each of these.
There is also a program on here called The Spark Solution which is a great jumpstart program. It is a 2-week program with Spark People that is really good - diet, recipes, tips, exercises, challenges etc. You might want to look at it. I went through it myself as well as a lot of others on here. It might be just what you need.

I have started the Spark program July 3rd and I have gained four punds I exercise and watch what I eat . I need a JUMP START idea as I am getting very discouraged.Any tips or ideas will be greatly appreciated to watch the scale go up is very depressing especially when one is really trying Waiting patiently and Thanks for all the support,Debbie
