Welcome to the team. I think this group is good for me because if I fill up on good stuff, I am not as likely to eat things that are not healthy. Vegetables are the best thing to eat, IMHO. for many reasons. My #1 tip: try to include at least one vegetable in every meal or snack.

I think it is important to make changes you can live with so start small and focus on being healthier. Drink plenty of water and add whole foods (fruits and veggies) to your diet. Hi, I'm Denise. I have about 35 lbs to lose. I am skirting on the pre-diabetes level and do not want to take medication. This issue can be solved with better nutrition and exercise. I bounce between great resolve and short-term follow-through to the "why bother, maybe I am meant to be this way" mentality.
