Thank you Cheryl! I met someone a few year ago that weighed close to 300lbs. She started walking then running. Now she is less than 150. I think running is the best way to lose the weight. I also like boot camp, cardio kickboxing and spinning but the best workout for the time is running. I just want to be able to do it now. I have been doing intervals and working with a personal trainer. She is really helping me but most of it is up to me!! I just have to stick with it and go slow like you said. Unfortunately it is easier said than done!!'

You are doing great too. Thanks for the encouragement. I was at 208 when I lost the 50 lbs. and now I am at 176, because I gained some back as you know. I also found out that I have Hypothyroidism before I started losing. That makes losing even harder, but we can do it.
I run some. I started about three years ago when I lost the 50 lbs. It is hard at first and I can't say it gets easier, but you get more accustomed to it. I actually enjoy it sometimes now. I will tell you to just start slow and do what you can. In fact, run/walk is even better at burning calories. It's considered interval training. If you can run for a minute or as long as you can and then walk for 2 minutes, then run again for a minute and walk for 2 minutes. It also helps keep your mind off exercising because you are thinking "alright, I can do this for a minute and then I can walk." Maybe you have to walk three minutes, that's OK. Just move.

I am in the same boat! I love to exercise but eating is where I falter. I think you need to focus more in your accomplishments. You have lost a lot of weight! We are going to lose and gain. I think that is part of life. Eating is a big part of it too.

This is my first time posting. I have lost and gained and lost and gained for years. Three years ago I started a new journey of losing. Lost 50 lbs. and then gained 30 back. Last year, I lost 15 of that and now I have 15 of that to go. However, when I started gaining back, I still had 10 lbs. to go. I now have 25 lbs. to loose altogether and I know everything to do, but I am hoping that joining a team and being accountable to people will help me loose better.
