I generally get in all of my required fruits/veggies (vegan, so I eat a LOT of them, lol!), but I'd like to get a little better about replacing some of my favorite processed foods with whole foods.

I'm sharon. Another Spark member who completed this challenged mentioned this challenged helped her to incorporate more veggies in her day:) So here I am, looking to learn!

I'm transitioning to a plant based diet. So far i've lost 26.6 pounds in just over 2 months! Very happy i'm finally taking the advice of the "forks over knives" documentary on Netflix!

Hi team. My name is Bonnie aka iamagemlover. I have lost 122 pounds and maintained for almost 3 years. I gained 14 pounds back this summer. I lose, then gain, then lose. Someone suggested that I am not eating enough. I usually get about 1250 calories. I am pretty sedentary due to health issues right now. I am going to try this to see if it helps any. I have trouble eating everything on my tracker now. I have digestive issues, so I can't eat too much fruit or veg.

No starving either! Are you eating within your range? Reasonable calorie range?

Hello!

I joined this challenge today to help motivate me to learn more healthy habits. I do not like 'diets' and do not want to feel like I am starving while trying to lose weight (especially when it isn't working anyhow!). I have been working on tracking calories for the last month with very little movement on the scale. I know it's because I am trying to stick to low calories and at least once a week end up binge eating something I'm craving because I feel so hungry! I'm tired of the up and down swings. I want to learn how to eat to feel full and also healthy at the same time.

Hi, I'm new to this challenge and really hope it'll keep me motivated.
I had success with weightloss before but it seems I dropped the ball in the last two years and the pounds've crept on. I aim to reverse this process by re-introducing healthy eating habits, most importantly portion control. I'm not fan of fatfree, artificially sweetened or otherwise modified foods, so I just have to re-learn how much is enough.

This challenge seems to guide me to the right direction so, lets start week one.

Hello,
My name is Janet, trying to fulfill two challenges by the end of September. Challenges are TRULY a challenge for me because I cannot stand spending a lot of time on the computer to track things and read articles etcetera. I am one of those who can go days without checking my emails or social media and Spark seems to be most effective with daily check-ins and interaction. I need a program that works with less regular interaction, like maybe weekly check ins; but then I can't meet criteria for most challenges can I?. I simply don't have the patience to spend an hour or more every day on one website. So much good info but so little time or patience!
The hardest part for me in this world of weight loss and lifestyle change is that I cannot stay focused on tracking meals for more than a day! It takes too much time and effort to find all the details of every little teaspoon of mustard or slice of tomato I ingest. I am pretty healthy internally: ie good blood work stats, but I am overweight and often lazy. I lack energy many days. Diabetes and Heart Disease, run in my family and I have done well to keep the potential for either, far at bay!
I have the best success by being aware of what I eat; and portion control has taken me far. My best prescription for weight loss involves activity. So I take my dong walking almost every day. This will help me shed a few pounds, but I would like to really drop the thirty or so extra pounds I have been carrying around for 10 years or longer. To do so, will involve more intensive workouts. I am trying to add activity on a weekly basis, and be more accountable for times when I don't feel like sticking to a plan of healthy lifestyle choices.
I'm going to try to give Spark a good effort by more regularly checking in, but don't feel bad for me if I disappear now and then.
We will see how this works.

I've been on the threads here at Sparkpeople since 2007. I've lost weight (75 pounds), gained some weight (30# or more) and re-losing weight.

March thru May - I thought I'd found my "groove" again and lost 14-15 pounds. This past couple weeks I gained 2# and last week 0.2#. In the past I've let myself continue to slip.

I've joined this team in hopes of re-grouping --- and start to lose again. I have this weird little thought in my head about 280Land --- almost all of my adult live I've lived in 280land --- soemtimes up a little more --- but never lower accept for just a short while a couple times.

So I'm turning things around today -- and heading to 270burg, 260ville, 250.... and so on.

I've been losing fairly consistently but at least once a month, I go "off the wagon". I already posted goals in the other thread, so sorry for the re-run! (I'm a Gemini so maybe I can't help posting twice)

I'm pretty consistent about tracking food & getting 5+ fruit & veggie servings daily, but I'm terrible about skipping meals then getting too hungry & going over calorie range. It happens at least twice a week. I'm still losing, but I'd love to get more consistent at eating regularly so I don't get too hungry, low energy or blow it.

Aiming to eat more veggies, add snacks at even intervals, & stay consistently within range.

Hi, Heather here. Lost 30 pounds a few years back with the help of SP, now they have found me again. Doing a reboot!!!
I love to cook and have been experimenting with new recipes to keep the food boredom away. Still struggling with getting my workout mojo going.

I couldn't even make myself get on the scale this week. I plan to weigh in on May 1 and only weigh 1x per month.

emoticon I'm Michele and have been with Spark since 2011. Have been caring for my husband for 2 years and in the last 3 months have noticed my energy level rapidly slowing down. I joined this team to assist me in getting back to healthy eating once again.
