My name is Angie and I have been using doTerra for about a year. The Modern Essentials book I bought cost $20. Make sure you get the newest edition. Some of the new oils are not in my book as it is the old edition and I didn't know it when I bought it!!
I take medication and am not able to use many oils internally, however I am able to use the new diffuser I purchased and I also use them topically. I especially like the deep blue for pain. It also comes in a rub that is the oil already mixed with a lotion. Easy to apply and less expensive then the bottle of oil. It does last a long time, too, whereas the oil gets used up quickly. (At least I find mine does!!)
I also use Frankincense and Rosemary for my arthritis pain. They can be applied topically without a carrier oil. They can also be layered with each other and deep blue.
The best part of doTerra oils is that you don't have to wait like after taking a pill. If one doesn't work you can apply another on top of it. They also work great on the feet. That is one way to get them into your whole body.
I am pretty new to doTerra. My sister introduced me. She and her husband bought a diamond kit and I have tried many of their oils that I don't have. She uses some of them to flavor baked goods, like the wild orange in cakes and cupcakes. It is pretty much trial and error as to how much to use. Rosemary and Oregano are strong oils, but also can be used in food. A little goes a long way, though, so be careful not to add too much!!
Well, guess that is enough for now. I probably won't post a lot as I am not able to be on the computer much due to my arthritis. I will try to check in every few days!!
Thanks so much for inviting me Gemma!! Glad to be here!
Just taking it one day at a time!!!
