Hi. I tried an experiment three weeks ago to try to REALLY treat my hypoglycemia by giving up bread etc for three days - with the caveat that if i HAD to give up bread, then by God I was gonna eat as much of the good stuff as i wanted, whenever i was hungry. The goal was to see if NOT eating carbs really would make the hungries go away. Fast forward three weeks, and hours of reading later - turns out I have reactive hypoglycemia due to insulin resistance, and my instincts had directed me to a hybrid keto/Atkins/whole foods way of eating. I'm so happy with this new eating plan, in so many ways, and I'm just dying to talk about it, swap keto food ideas and recipes!
