Yes, welcome! I'm older than you but have hubby and 3 boys so I know how busy that keeps you! I fight it and hate it but when I lose my most weight is when I plan my entire day out mealwise. I even put it in Sparkspeople so I can see what I'm eating for the day in case I want to adjust it. It seems to help me not cheat if I know I'm cutting it really close on calories and also if I know I only have an hour or two hours before I can eat such and such.

Welcome to the team, and you are on the right track when you say you are going to treat losing weight as a job. That's how I look at it, 9am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I get up and go to the gym. I wouldn't cancel on work so why cancel on myself, which in my opinion is more important than any job.

I just started carb cycling on Monday and so far so good, I am curious to see if the results are as amazing as everybody seems to think.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I just read the Carb Cycling book by Chris Powell and am very interested in doing this.

I'm 41 years old, I have 3 kids, married to a great guy. I'm a stay at home mom, and I'm going to treat this (losing 150lbs) as my job. My goal is to lose weight, get healthy so I am no longer sitting on the sidelines of my life!
