I'm also fond of eating and reading! I've started to try to make that getting in fruit and vegetable servings time...or at least figure out my reading snacks ahead of time so I don't find myself with an empty bag of chips or box of cookies!

I'm 52, happily married, a full time freelance writer (education, instructional design, museums, fundraising, marketing, scripts, books, articles, etc.), and mom to 2 teens -- one on the milder side of the autism spectrum. I'm also deeply into community theater (directing my first show right now!), singing, and photography.
We live on Cape Cod MA -- a gorgeous spot, which we picked out 5 years ago because... we really like it here!
I have always struggled with my weight and worked on fitness, but have never been hugely overweight or unfit. I'm now at a steady, unchangable 160 at 5'4", and have yet to find a local gym or class I love and can stick with (either my schedule changes, their schedule changes, or I hate the class!). So I am a walker (outdoor and treadmill), I own a few weights... and would love to find a great dance class.
No food obsessions, but I do love to eat and read (a habit I don't really want to break.. just manage!). Also love ruffles chips, and have a tough time with buffets, cocktail parties and pot lucks... can't seem to leave anything tasty alone!
I'm 30, and I'm a full-time college writing instructor. I also run a crafting business on Etsy, where I sell jewelry and plushies :D
I want to get back into moderation in both eating (where I tend to go to one extreme or the other) and exercise (which I used to do regularly and now don't do at all). It doesn't help that I eat out with my boyfriend 3-4 times a week! I'd like to start eating in for some of those times instead. (We don't live together, which makes that a little harder.)
