Yep, there I am, swimming through the desert sands. Might just be a mirage, after all. But this is life, and we learn best about it if we explore it, and take our chances. A life unexplored, after all, is one of the saddest things out there.
I don't know that it is worse than the alternative because we are going to be walking on streets of gold, no more pain, no sorrow! Anyway, for now, I am in bootcamp for that first day in eternity. Blondee53, I would never have guessed you were 60! You are still looking green and young~lol. My DH hit the big 60 and survived. I still have one more bd before I hit that no.
That reminds me...when I turned 36, I joked I wasn't having birthdays anymore. I was celebrating the "anniversary" of my 35th! After doing that for 15 years...I realized some days I felt 50....and realized I WAS! Now I will be turning 60 this year and regardless of how many I've "had" and will have....I thank God I'm still here! To laugh, love and live awhile longer!
Blessings to all of you! There are several of us coming up next month! ...I usually get my gifts to me from me early! Last year I gave myself my Kindle reader and love it!
In all things, I will acknowledge Christ, my Savior and strength of my life. Brenda (Bren)
