Hi, I'm entering my 7th week with Spark People and have just completed the 28-Day Bootcamp. In planning my next four weeks of fitness I'm going to use the combination of the Bootcamp with Total Body Sculpting (along with brisk walking).

My fitness goal is to make slow, steady, incremental progress and to make the fitness sessions FUN. I think I've finally have the "grapevine move" down; however, my bridge looks more like a board across a muddy puddle!

Happy to find this team and hope to see you around Spark.

My aim is to encourage, facilitate and restore health, happiness and hope in harmony with LIFE in all its fullness.

Hello and an early Happy New Year to all!!

I'm Robbie. There's quite a bit of info about me on my SparkPage, so I won't go into too much detail here.

I take daily medication for Type 2 Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and Cholesterol. I had open heart surgery in May of 2012. I have completely recovered and do my Phase 3 Cardiac Rehab twice a week with a personal trainer and all in all feel pretty doggone good!!

As with many, my problem isn't knowing what to do - it's doing what I know!! But usually, having someone to hold me accountable and to provide motivation is a big help. I hope and expect that will be the case with the various teams!!

Thanks in advance for any and all help, guidance, motivation, tips/ideas, etc.

Robbie

I'm at goal weight now. I lost 114 lbs in 2012 with the help of my husband and my friends. I couldn't trust my family I'm sorry to say. They all tried to sabotage my diet when we were all together. I'm sure some of you have had the same problem. They'd say"Come on Mom a little bit of this won't hurt or I made this dessert just for you". I exercised everyday even when I didn't want to which was most everyday. I'm waiting for my DVD to arrive so I can do something new. I reached m y goal in Nov.,2012 and I've managed to keep it off within a lb. or two either way.

Good to be back on another team with you, Leighann!
I'm Nicky, hoping to celebrate my 70th birthday on 1st May. On New Year's Eve, I decided to make my January resolution to exercise daily, and did January Jumpstart, and lost considerably more weight than the 1 kilo a month I was aiming at! This encouraged, I went on to 28 day bootcamp, which I completed, but nearly killed myself overexercising the last week, and the week after that.
The last 2 weeks I've returned to 28 day bootcamp, but doing no more than one workout a day, interspersed, normally, by walking up the mountain, or very gentle jogging. I was hoping to reach my goal weight sometime this summer, but actually got there about 6 weeks ago! I'm now working at weight maintenance, which I find much more stressful than getting rid of surplus weight! I'm actually 1 1/2 kilos below my original goal weight, and that's fine. My present goal is to further reduce my spare tyre, and it's happening slowly. I like the feel on my slimmer, fitter body, and having 10 kilo less to drag around is also less tiring! My original goal was to weigh 57 kilos at home, going up to not more than 60 when travelling. Last weigh in I was down to 55.5, and I think if I avoid the sort of gluttony that makes my tummy hurt when travelling, and make sure I exercise, e.g. walk, I can avoid putting on as much weight as I used to. SP has taught me to be satisfied before I'm uncomfortably bloated! I've also learned so much about nutrition and exercise. I'm passing some of this wisdom on to friends and neighbours. I've introduced 3 people to SP so far. My neighbours don't speak English (I live in a village in Albania), so they have to gain SP's wisdom through me.
The DVD came out with some friends visiting Albania from England on Friday. I started it today. Challenging, but doable, and I enjoyed it.
Thank you, SP and Coach Nicole and team! You're helping me turn my life round. It's never too late!

I bought this DVD and haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'm finishing up the Spring Into Shape Challenge first.
I got on SparkPeople wanting to lose about 40 lbs. I've lost 12 and still hope to lose more, but I'm more focused on just getting healthy and strong. I want to improve my strength and healthy/endurance. I want to be able to be active with my kids and easily do what needs done day to day without hurting.
I really look forward to giving this DVD a try after next week.

Hi I'm Lynn and in leave in Iowa. I've been on SP a couple years ago, but recently started back up the beginning of January and since then I have lost 12 lbs and inches. My first SP DVD was the 28-day bootcamp, which I love. I've tried bootcamp at the Y a couple years ago, but it was so strenuous that it cause injury to my knee and feet. Plus, I didn't seem to lose any weight. Not to long ago I bought the Total Body Sculpting and love the workout sessions. It definitely makes me sweat. I will alternate between the Total Body Sculpting and the 28-day Bootcamp DVD and I just ordered/received the first two SP DVD's Fit, Firm and Fired Up and Cardio Blast. All of the SP DVD's are excellent and for me, I do better working out at home than going to a gym. Once the weather gets warmer, I will incorporate walks with my dog into my schedule.

Hi. My goal is to lose all my weight I gained after I quit smoking and get back in shape again. I bought this video about a month ago. I have been a member of Spark People for a few years and have not had much success do to being off and on the site as well as just logging my food and trying to figure it out myself. This time around I am following the meal planner and only alter when necessary. I wanted to get a DVD that I could do as a 'beginner'. I had done some walking/running a few years back and it did not really work for me. After a few weeks of just dieting, I started the DVD. It was so easy to follow and I just click on the day and off it goes! I was pretty sure I would like it as I had done many of the videos on SP already with Coach Nicole. I am now starting to do the intermediate level and it is really a step up. I think I will be on this level for a while. Following the easy workout plan and incorporating the Bollywood as my cardio, along with following the meal plan has given me tremendous success. I also find that with my success I am also able to stay motivated.

I just bought the DVD and have not yet had a chance to review it yet. I am hoping that I will be able to work with it without much trouble...I have fluid on my knee and have been trying to get that under control and bought a couple of DVD's to work with hoping to find something that will be low impact on my knee for the time being. Had been trying to work on running...which isn't going so well because of the winter cold here and my 2 little guys...also hoping that getting into a regular exercise routine will help my perimenopausal symptoms slow down a bit.

Hi! I am Sharon and just found this team. I got Coach Nichole's DVD during the Holiday's and hope to start working out with it. I have joined so many challenges starting in January that I never even looked at my DVD. It's about time to add that to what I am doing now. I use to run Long Distance and stopped almost 2 years ago after having surgery. I certainly want to get back to it but know realistically that it will take time. I also need to loose weight gained post surgery.

Hi, my name is Wanda. I am from Anchorage, Alaska. 56 years old. I did two 1/2 Marathons last year and plan to do a full marathon this year (walking fast - they give you 7--1/2 hrs to complete it.) I started Jan 1 weighing 170 pounds. A 10 pound gain from last year. Goal is to lose 20 minimum by May - 30 pounds before I do the marathon in August. In May I am treating myself and my husband to a trip to Ireland for my Mothers Day and Birthday gift to myself.

Hi. I FINALY found this DVD after several trips to my local Targets looking for it. emoticon It was the last one on the shelf too!

I have lost 7 lbs. since 1/4/13 and have about 56 left to go by 11/12/13. I'm currently doing the C25K program and am running a 5K on 4/27/13. I need to get more strength training in and I can't wait to try the barre routine in this program.

Happy Sculpting! emoticon emoticon

I bought the DVD on Monday. I am very close to reaching my goal weight, but have been stuck between 153-155 for quite some time now. I'm hoping by incorporating this new DVD, plus another new DVD I got, will help break this little plateau I seem to be on and get me down to where I want to be.

I did the bodyweight burn video yesterday and I liked it. I think, this combined with other cardio I do, will be good for me.

Happy Sunday Everyone!
My name is Nancy, I'm 75 years old, a widow and live with my dog Abbie and kitty Gibbs. I weigh around 116 pounds so don't want to lose weight. I'm interested in keeping limber and mobile so that I can care for myself and live alone. I walk inside to Leslie Sansone and exercise to Anne Burnell Chair exercises and have an old stationary bike that works. I walk in my back yard when the weather permits. I feel like I'm pretty healthy, get good rest, drink my water and eat lots of fruits and veggies. That's me!!!! Stop by my page!

Hey guys! I got Total Body Sculpting for myself as a New Year's present. My cable provider has some free workouts on its health & fitness channel, one of which happened to be from Sparkpeople. Tried it and liked it, and when I saw that Total Body Sculpting was on sale at Amazon, I scooped it up. I've been doing cardio kickboxing and wanted something different to keep my workouts interesting--boredom is my downfall!

Hi! I'm not a good exerciser, but I love Coach Nicole's relaxed training style. I own the Fit, Firm and Fired Up video and the Cardio Blast DVD. I got this Total Body Sculpting one and the 28 day boot camp for Christmas. Hoping adding these will inspire me to stay involved in exercise.

Hi, I enjoy Coach Nicole's exercise DVDs. I stay motivated to do the routines, that challenge and make me feel good about myself once I have completed them. I like the choreography, music and of course Coach Nicole's pleasant personality and clear instructions. Having her assistants provide examples of how to do the exercises according to ones ability is very helpful too. I want to continue to lose 2-3 pounds a month and also lower my body mass index. Cheers...Roz emoticon emoticon emoticon

I want to lose weight, but mostly so I can be healthy. I was an active teen but started to gain weight before I was out of high school. It happened slowly, so I never worried about it...

I had to deal with gestational diabetes with my second pregnancy, though I gained less than I had with my first pregnancy. I was told I could expect to develop Type 2 diabetes at some point... but if I can develop healthy habits I might be able to avoid that.

My husband has since developed Type 2 himself.

I want to create healthy habits while my kids are around, too, so that they can learn to be more active and eat right--my 3 year old already has her own set of weights (she calls them "hammers" to "lift" when I'm working with my dumbbells--2 lbs was the smallest I could find, but they also came in purple, which is her favorite color, so she has been very pleased with them.

I want to help women realize that muscle is not a bad thing. I believe I have some muscle developed, but you can't see them just yet. I'd like to strengthen and tone them while I train for 5K, and surely everything will eventually pull together for my body.

Hi, I've just purchased Coach Nicole's new DVD "Total Body Sculpting." This is added to my collection: 28 Day BootCamp, SparkPeople Cardio Blast and SparkPeople Fit, Firm & Fired UP.

My goal is to add these new workouts to my fitness and strength training program, continue to loose weight; 2-3 pounds a month.

This new DVD will be a holiday present for my two nieces. Happy exercising all!

I received this DVD for free from SparkPeople
but did not receive any form of payment for my review.

I'm in my late 50s....I will never be a runner/jogger and
my joints don't like impact exercises...
so I needed workouts that would concentrate on fluid motion and strength training. And I really need to work on my abs and arms.

that being said...I would have purchased this video after viewing it.
It is perfect for someone like me that needs strength training and toning.
I needed something that wouldn't hurt my joints and that I could keep up with.
Doing these exercises with my 5 lb weight really challenges me, and yet the movements are smooth and controlled, so I get a great workout and build muscle.
I needed something to work my arms and core. This DVD definitely had both.
I needed something that would give me a little cardio in the mix without lots of jumping.
I wanted clear instructions so that I could follow along without getting out of step when the exercise changed. Again... this has it.
And I wanted to understand the focus points so I could get the form correct.

And when I want a quiet workout that won't disturb the neighbors...in the off hours...
the Barre Body and the Sizzle-Scultp Circuit are just right.

This DVD is great.
Thanks Coach Nicole....Great Job

emoticon A new video by Coach Nicole! That's emoticon ! I've got to get it ASAP!!!

My goals are to lose about 8-10 more pounds to get to my final goal. And I want a stronger core bigtime!

I loved the 28 Day Bootcamp DVD and still use it. If you don't already have it, you have to get it in addition to this new one!

I had no idea this was out until I went to check out of my amazon order. I won't get the points, but I'll definately get a more fit and healthier me for the New Year! emoticon The preview I saw on amazon looks good.

I'm looking to tone up a bit more and define muscle. This will make a great addition to the bootcamp dvd.

I know it's still just Release-Day Eve, but I already know I'm a huge fan! I've been slacking off a lot lately and I need something new to get me moving and losing again, and this DVD's going to be perfect!

More about me: I've been running a lot to train for my first half marathon coming up in December. But my strength training has gone out the window, and my bad eating habits are creeping back up on me. I lost about 45 pounds to weigh under 200 for the first time in years, and I know that it's creeping back on and I don't want to be on another yo yo again! So I'm nixing that right now and I'm going to get back on track!

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. You will need to make healthy decisions. It requires sacrifice. You will need to push your body to its max. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, IT'S WORTH IT.
