Remember a healthy lifestyle is 40-60 or 50-50 or something like that. The point is you have to have good nutrition AND exercise. You are doing GREAT!

Only 11am here, but I have my low-cal, healthy lunch all set. I DO have to drive to get food for my husband and take it to him, but I am feeling zero temptation to get junk for myself.

Thanks for asking. :)

SanDiegoJohn, Marathon Runner? More like SanDiegoJohn, Fraud and Failure.

Yeah, that's my mood today. It's where I am. I have been on a terrible slide and it ends today. Today.

I got up at 4am, made it to the gym to run a 5k and strength train, and now I am planning a day of perfect eating.

I WILL rally here. I am worth it.

Good for you. I can definitely relate to the need for realistic expectations.

That's great! I am working on small expectations. For example, only 10 minutes of exercise for 100 days. If I don't do a hour, than it's not worth it. Trying to reframe my expectations of myself.

I'm finding my way back. I'm working on short term goals, more realistic, so I don't burn out or set myself up for failure.

Here's the long and short of my story... runner12dotcom.blogspot.com/p/my-sto

These days, though, I'm feeling more like my old slug self. I put together a Fall Challenge and it just wasn't what I needed. So, I'm going to revamp it and see if I can make it work.

Nice to be on this team. I think, sometimes, the best thing is to know that you are not the only one going through a tough patch.
