Okay so I have been just trying to move around more lately but not really doing any intentional exercise. I haven't done intentional exercise in a while! Today is the day. I am going to get back to my streak. I feel so much better when I do. I know it will probably take some pushing but I am going to do it!

I have got to start all over with my exercise. I have slipped off track in that area and I have got to get some movement going. Losing my fitbit sure has been a hurt as I am not getting the kick in the pants like I was getting. I hope I find it soon!

I am trying something new in order to get some extra movement in during the day. This idea came from a challenge that I am doing. I changed it up a bit to work for me and what I want to do so I will share that with you. I made a list of some exercises that I could do like squats, calf raises, toe touches, bicep curls etc. (I put the list on my phone but a 3x5 card would work fine). Every time I go to the bathroom, I do a set of one of the exercises. Once I have done 3 sets, I go to the next exercise. I don't track it in the tracker until I have completed 3 sets. I put a tick mark on the note on my phone by the exercise that I completed to keep track.

I started doing this yesterday but I have done it before. I like the idea and it is helping me get some extra exercise. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you!

I am on Day 4 today! I am glad to say that I am back to working on my journey. I am trying to build back up to where I was but I am taking it slowly. One step at a time. One day at a time! I will do it!!!

I have been getting going and I decided today that I need to make a better effort at exercising so I am starting at Day 1 today! I like Mostmom1's blog about Slow Sparking and how she keeps track of her streak with post-it notes. I really want to get this streak on the road! Who's with me???

i have done 6 days so far! I am feeling better. I have been out of the house so much lately that I feel really good. I am looking forward to getting out and doing some walking in the neighborhood soon. I plan to walk to the park with my GD and I think we are planning on walking to the library to go to a puppet show on Saturday. I think those walks will get me started walking daily. I was doing that last year and then I stopped. I can't wait to get it going again!

I am having to start all over with my streak. I am not discouraged because I am not giving up. I just have to keep picking myself up and keep pushing. I made it to 50 days before I stopped this last time so I can do it again and go farther.

Today is day 24 for me! I am so excited to say that I am back doing 30 minutes of cardio a day! Boy was that a long hard road to get back to this point! Today I did 30 minutes of dancing and 40 minutes of ST! What a great workout!

Come on ladies! You can do it! If you are off the exercise wagon, today is a great day to get back on! How about setting a goal of a week streak? Start today and streak for 7 days. Then you can build from there! I know you can do it.

Today is day 21 for me! I can see day 30 in my sights. I was almost there before and stopped a few days before reaching it. I am going to keep pushing to get there and then I am going for the next 30 days! I can do it!

How is everyone else doing? It is the new year and it is a fresh start. If you haven't set your goals or maybe you have fallen off track or stopped your streak...NOW is the time to get started again! Get up and do 10 minutes of some type of exercise. You can do it! Then tomorrow do it all over again! Got a calendar? Mark it on the calendar with a smiley face and watch all those smiles start adding up and you keep pushing and keep doing your exercise! If you haven't been doing any exercise, just start out with 10 minutes and then later, you can build back up!

2013 is the year to stop all the excuses. It is the year to make exercise an important part of our lives and routines. It is time to get serious about our health. I know that the "fast food crew" is always out there trying to get us to eat things that aren't healthy. They lie to us that they will comfort us and make us fell better. We fall for their slippery talk and enticing commercials but what do we find? We are only comforted for a second and then we are left with regret and most likely a pain in our stomach from over eating all that grease.

Let's make 2013 different! Let's work together to stay on track. emoticon

Today is Day 14 for me! I am feeling so much more motivated now that Christmas is over. I ate way too many sweets and junk food. Today I am focusing on freggies. I made a green smoothie that has 9 servings of freggies! It was great and I am full and feel energized.

Yesterday (Sunday) was Day 11 for me. I had a great workout. I am beginning to feel better from getting back to exercising. I knew I would be I also knew that it would take some time. I am pressing forward!

So I thought I was further along on my streak but I miss counted. In my last post I said I was on day 10 but I had to update it as day 7. Today I am on day 9. I am not upset or discouraged as I am still streaking. I can do this. I just have to keep focused and keep pushing!

I am on Day 7! Thanks to my fitbit! It keeps me motivated!!! I wish it would keep me from eating everything like it is going out of style!

Day 6 for me - I have done 15 minutes of walking so far. I am planning on another 30 minutes of dancing before the day is done.

i did 45 minutes of dancing yesterday! I was having to push but I got it done.

Day 4 for me - 30 minutes of dancing. I had to do a bit of modifying as my foot started to give me some trouble. I didn't let it keep me from getting my minutes in. I wanted to do 45 minutes but I am glad to have gotten 30 minutes done.

Okay Imsoozeeq in the house!!!! Day 1 for me and I have done 15 minutes of dancing so far today! I am getting a jump on December! I read something great in a book last night. It was talking about making a commitment to your weight loss lifestyle change. I don't think I had made a very good commitment but now that has changed and I am moving forward again! I can do it and so can all of you!!!
