Welcome Amy! I think that the key to exercising is finding one that you like! What got me started with exercise was the Turbo Kick DVDs by Chalene Johnson ( www.beachbody.com ). They are fun! Maybe check out some different DVDs from the library and see what kind you like?

I'm Marit, 45 years old and from Norway. Somhow I felt an urge to reply to your post. I struggle with eating healthy and exercise too. I've found it easier to eat healthy when I take the time to plan what to have for dinner for a week ahead and then buy all the food that I need for the coming week. Hi everyone. My name is Amy and I live in Maine. I will be 35 in December and I'm a mom to two boys. I recently found out I have high cholesterol but my doctor is giving me a three months to lower it through diet/exercise because I don't want to go on meds. This was already 2 months ago and I still have yet to start exercising and eating better!!!! I can never seem to stick with an exercise regimen or eating healthy for longer than a week or two. I'm hoping by joining this group and participating in the Living & Active Challenge, I can make exercise/eating healthy routine and part of my daily life.
