Hi ladies! I'm ready to get back to Sparking after a bit of a hiatus. I've never actually left Spark, but wasn'tt too diligent about it for the past year. I was about 8-10 pounds above my goal weight when I got pregnant and gained 30 lbs during pregnancy. No idea what I weigh now. I have been scared to hop on the scale. I have been really hungry, probably due to breast feeding, and eating junk - especially sweets. NOT good. Time to get serious! I can 't wait to be cleared for exercise in 3 weeks!

Hello :) I've had a rocky road with weight gain...when I started college I was 145 pounds, and I stayed there for a few years but once I started working at a restaurant I started gaining weight...all that yummy food.... I was up to 165 when I got pregnant with Damien. I lost it all after 18 months (I have a hard time losing weight) and then gained 10 pounds back by the time I got pregnant with Connor. I'm 197 right now, my first goal weight is 175 (pre-pregnancy with Connor) but I'd eventually like to get down to 140. I love doing 5% challenges, they feel so much more manageable, so I'll probably do a lot of those for myself.
Hey girls. I'm here because I want to be a size 4/6 again. Right now I'm a 12/14. A lot of my self worth is tied up in how I look, as sad as that might sound. I like looking at clothes and knowing they will fit.
Thanks for creating this group. I was within 2 pounds of my pre-pregnancy weight, but after days of laying around the house, and eating ice-cream and barely moving, the scale seems to be going up, not down. I haven't got the go ahead to exercise yet, but when I do, I'm hoping to start working out more. I'm still dealing with some post partum bladder issues, so we'll see how soon I'll be able to start running again. This isn't the best weather for me to start up running anyways - it's so hot!!
My pre-pregnancy weight was about 147 and I'd like to get down to 130-135 ideally.
I started this pregnancy at the same weight as I was when I got pregnant the first time, but that was still 40ish pounds over what I should be. I'm within about 5 pounds of pre-pregnancy weight, but especially since I'm not planning on anymore kids, it's time to kick the extra weight to the curb. I'm currently reading "The Spark" and am planning on setting mini-weight goals for myself to get me to my ultimate goal weight by my peanut's first birthday in June.
Today doesn't last forever, but tomorrow never comes.
It seems like I always lose a lot of weight and get pregnant! Happened 3 times! This time I want the weight off for good! I gained abt 45 lbs this time around. Down 30 lbs in 6 weeks and now is the time to kick it into high gear and get the rest off. Would like to lose abt 25 lbs total.
I created this team for all the moms who were also due in June.
Losing weight after having a baby can be very exciting if you're one of those amazing women that shrink right away or very stressful if you have a body that likes to hold onto every lb it can.
Either way, I'm here to support all those other mom's trying to juggle parenting, exercise, and healthy eating all the while never getting a full night's sleep.
My personal story: I went into my second pregnancy still carring 46 lbs from my first. I managed to control my weight gain to 20 lbs this time. I've set a personal goal of getting back to the weight I was before I ever got pregnant the first time.
My longterm weight loss goal is 66 lbs. I've already knocked down some of those lbs but still have a long way to go.
