I know CrAzY, right?! (see topic title) I got the bug to run a couple of years ago, but haven't yet followed through on the urges to RUN. I started my SP journey in January 2009, started the C25K program sometime that March, but had knee troubles that dissuaded me from further training....then I returned to working at sea and lost all I'd worked for. That brings us to today. A couple of months ago, I was talking with a friend and we decided we were going to run the Rock & Roll 1/2 Marathon in Vegas next December (not this!). I didn't even skip a beat in announcing it to all of my friends on Facebook and am still quite excited about it. I've just recently returned home from working at sea and a vacation, and unfortunately am healing a badly sprained ankle....but as soon as I feel fit enough, I'm getting started with the C25K program :D I joined this group in order to find advice as I need it and to get tips on making it through the rough patches of being a new runner....hopefully finding a few new friends in the process :)
