Hi and welcome to the team! With all the cycling your legs must be in pretty good shape, as well as your cardio system, which will help a lot. The muscles used for running are different than cycling but you have a definite advantage over someone who hasn't done any of that. Good luck!

Hi everyone, I'm new to this team but not new to Spark. I've finally decided to train for a half-marathon in 2012! I am a cyclist and haven't run much lately. I did a sprint triathlon in July and the run for that was a 5K. I'm definitely ready to shake things up. I just started running again this week, and I'm hoping to be ready for the Illinois half-Marathon at the end of April. Thanks for having me aboard. :)
