My name is Crystal and I have been a member of Sparkpeople since the middle of November. I am loving the tracking options for diet and exercise, but would like to get more into the social aspect of it. I am a stay-at-home mom with my 22 month old son (after teaching elementary school for 6 years). I have always enjoyed exercise, but have struggled to eat within my caloric range, especially since I'm a vegetarian and am rarely "full". I began running in February and LOVE it! I've completed 3 5Ks and 1 10K. I am thinking of running a half-marathon in the spring. Despite all the running, my weight hasn't budged but 5 pounds... I would like to lose 20-30 and get back to my pre-Graves' Disease (hyperthyroidism) treatment weight. I am looking forward to getting to know you all!
