Hi and welcome to the team! SOunds like you're doing great with the running and well on the way to that HM. The tools are great here but the social aspect can really help too. It really does for me anyway.
My name is Crystal and I have been a member of Sparkpeople since the middle of November. I am loving the tracking options for diet and exercise, but would like to get more into the social aspect of it. I am a stay-at-home mom with my 22 month old son (after teaching elementary school for 6 years). I have always enjoyed exercise, but have struggled to eat within my caloric range, especially since I'm a vegetarian and am rarely "full". I began running in February and LOVE it! I've completed 3 5Ks and 1 10K. I am thinking of running a half-marathon in the spring. Despite all the running, my weight hasn't budged but 5 pounds... I would like to lose 20-30 and get back to my pre-Graves' Disease (hyperthyroidism) treatment weight. I am looking forward to getting to know you all!
