I wanted to take the time introduce myself. I'm a former volleyball player and track and field athlete. Well, needles to say, life has happened and I'm gotten little too comfortable in it. With work, being a wife, mother and having other interest to keep me busy I can't find time to going to the gym. It's just not enough time in the day but I need to find time. I'm a habitual dieter and I'm sick of it! My 5 year old and dog loves to walk so I want to foster that in them.
I've never been good at running distances, okay I'll be honest I dreaded running distances on the off season for track. But now I have decided to take to plunge and sign up for a 5k (run/walk)on Labor Day. I can walk it, no problem, but I want to run it. So I'll pull some aids off the internet to help. So wish me luck. Come hell or high water I will do this.
The hardest part isn't falling but getting up again and trying again.
