Hi Jenn,

If you are having trouble getting past that 10th minute, you need to slow down. That will allow you to run longer. You can do this - just hang in there.

Hello Everyone

I am new to the beginners running club and I started running about 2 weeks ago. I am a bit stuck because I start getting tired after the 10th minute. My question is what should I do to keep going? I want to run a 5k by June, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed.

Any advise would really help.

Welcome! I have found by following a running plan designed by someone else, that helps keep me on track. There are lots of couch to 5K options available online.

And if you want us to nag you, I suppose we could! emoticon

Hi Everyone! I made a deal with myself and a friend back in December, that I would start running. Since I have not really gotten very far on my own, I decided to join this group in the hopes that I will be a little more driven. I figure support and some guidance will be good for me. emoticon
