Little behind here. Welcome to the team! Can't was always a word my mom always said shouldn't be in my vocabulary. Mom's know best.

You go girl! We welcome you! It's so good to have you on our team!

“Even if you are on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.”
Woo hoo! A positive attitude!
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength
I must learn to love the fool in me- the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries...
aboard and so glad to have you here and good luck with your journey
Cardio/Strength DVD's-252 min

Looking forward to getting to know you and read more of your posts.
PAIN IS NOTHING ELSE - BUT WEAKNESS LEAVING YOUR BODY!!!!!!!
You're only young once - but if you do it right - once is enough!!
*Thank those in combat boots for your freedom*
Sounds like there's no reason for you not to be running!
Wow, what a wonderful way to look at the bright side of life. I look forward to more of your posts. And welcome!!!
You sound like one awesome woman!!
I can't wait to hear what you'll have to teach me.
Life never gives you more than you can handle. Accept challenges with grace and know that you are stronger for overcoming them.
"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is that quiet voice at the end of the day saying: I will try again tomorrow."
*GIG EM!* **GO STEELERS!!**
First off I'd like to "Thank" Bree & Buggie for the Team Welcome....
I am a soon to be 58 year old peri-menopausal woman who was just diagnosed with Hypothyroid and Vit D deficient....I have been a fairly active gal over the past 30+ years keeping my weight at 100 lbs. I consider this a healthy weight for a woman my height 5' 0".
From October 2007 to Dec 2008 I felt like the Universe sucked the life force out of me....Most of my daily exercising and walking took a back seat. As I have lost 20 lb (20 years ago) and kept them off through behavior modification, the "dieting" for me now is really a way of life.
I am currently taking Synthroid, 2,000 units of Vit D3, Fish Oil, Cal, and a multi vit daily.
My energy levels seem to be coming back and I have resolved to get back to the level of activity I once had....this time incorporating some jogging into my routine or as you "kids" call it, running.
I do exercise 5 x a week which includes as of today Upper & lower body strength training, yoga, walking 2 miles min & Pilates. I decided to kick it up a notch with some running as I noticed the 2 lb winter weight gain I allow myself is not coming off as quickly....
I have read many of your posts and find you most encouraging....not sure where this will lead, but unlike the gal who wrote "I don't think I can do this"....I say "Can't" is a word I do not use. I may not be the best, or break any records, but I will TRY. I also have Water Volley ball coming up starting in May and have joined a Women's golf team for April....
For me, it's not about living longer, but having a good quality of life as I age. My husband by the way is 65 and has been jogging 3+ miles 5 x a week for over 30 years....
So, Thanks to you All for having me as a team member....The Universe says that any pathway you start walking (running)down TODAY will lead you to an enlightened place...Ciao, Pepper
