Hey I'm new to running...well, I'm more of a quick-walker. I just got a new pair of shoes and have been hitting the treadmill. But I've always wanted to run and hope that I can get in shape enough to do so!

HI... I'm new to running. I've always looked up to and admired friends who ran. I've wanted to be a runner for years and I've dreamed of how great it would feel. What's kept me from running in the past is asthma and being out of shape. I've lost 25 pounds (down to an "acceptable" bmi for my height!) and have new found endurance. I still can't run as long as I'd like to - working on that. Although my time on the treadmill is the HAPPIEST time I spend at the gym. I go as long as I can before I have to stop and catch my breath... or puff the inhaler. I'd love to run a 5K and 10K in 2009 (and run the whole thing)... are there any tricks other than "keep working at it"?

Hello : ) today is my monthaversary with SP!!! : ) I started the C25K program on Nov. 4th, joined SP The C25K a month ago. I am a new wanna be runner and are hoping to share my struggles and accomplishments with you.
